Does nuclear energy still have a part to play in the world?

Nuclear energy still have a part to play in this world. As global warming is getting more and more serious in our Earth right now, this is where nuclear energy comes into place. Nuclear power generators emit relatively little carbon dioxide. This is the main advantage as there are more and more carbon dioxide given out into our atmosphere which causes the green house effect- main cause of global warming. Nuclear energy is also readily available. We do not have to wait for it to be developed before we can start using it. This saves a lot of our time. Time is equal to money. Hence, we are saving money too. Much nuclear energy can also be generated in just one single plant. In this case, we do not have to build more plants just to produce the same amount of nuclear energy. This saves space. Nuclear energy is also one of the safest way of producing energy.  Each year, 10,000 to 50,000 Americans die from respiratory diseases due to the burning of coal, and 300 are killed in mining and transportation accidents. In contrast, no Americans have died or been seriously injured because of a reactor accident or radiation exposure from American nuclear power plants. Nuclear power plants need little fuel, so they are less vulnerable to shortages because of strikes or natural disasters.  Many countries had built or wants to build nuclear plant due to the advantages above. Therefore, nuclear energy still have a part to play in the world.
