War - Personal Response

This photo depicts a scene of a few bony children with bloated tummies due to malnutrition as they were suffering from starvation and hunger. They are as thin as bamboos, with bones clearly visible. One of the girl is staring into space in despair, looking dejected. She is holding a tiny tin can which I suppose is the only food left for her. She is counted as more fortunate than the other people as at least she has clothes on though they rugged and tattered. Her hands are like those of witches, long and bony. Those little children are totally bare from head to toe. One of the children there had hands placed above his head, looking around hopelessly. He looks so frail, skinny to the extent that his ribcage is visible but his tummy is bloated like a balloon. They are standing in front of a run down house. These children are suffering from the disastrous effects of war.
